Each Monday of October, Fr. Francisco Nahoe OFM Conv. will offer scriptual and theological reflections on the Eucharistic faith and sprituality of the Church. Each sesson presents and explains the traditional Catholic doctrine and assesses the challenges by contemporary attitudes and practices in liturgy, faith formation, evangelization and preaching.
Christ our Lord declares Himself to be the Bread come down from heaven. “Unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink of His Blood,” He tells His disciples, “you shall not have life within you.” (John 6:53). Catholic teaching on the Eucharist, therefore, is a matter of central concern for all those who long to be made holy by God’s grace poured out upon the faithful in the sacraments of the Church.
Tonight’s lecture begins at 7:00pm.
Tonight’s topic is What Do We Mean by Transubstantiation?.
