Youth Faith Formation: Grades K to 5 & 1st Communion

The Evangelization Outreach Program at Our Lady of Grace offers religious instruction and Faith Formation for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade & bilingual classes. We also offer classes in preparation for the Sacrament of 1st Holy Communion (2nd Grade).

Registration Fees for 2020-2021

  • $110 for the 1st child
  • $55 each for additional child in the same household
  • There is an early-bird discount if your children are registered by June 30, 2020.

Whole Family Catechesis: English / Bilingual, Grades K – 5: Classes for Parent & Child will be held virtually. Classes are tentatively set to begin on Sunday, September 13, 2020. Due to the Alameda County Health Department’s Legal Order, the 1st day of class may change. We thank you for your patience.

We encourage you to register your child early so that we may plan accordingly. Children will be placed in classes on a first-come, first-served basis.

1st Holy Communion (2nd Grade): Classes for Parent & Child will be held virtually.  Your child should have completed one year of Faith Formation at Our Lady of Grace or at another parish and be entering 2nd grade. Classes are tentatively set to begin on Sunday, September 20, 2020. Due to the Alameda County Health Department’s Legal Order, the 1st day of class may change. We thank you for your patience. 

Our gatherings include lessons, crafts, bible stories, music, games and activities to help children learn about our Catholic faith and how to apply it in our everyday lives. In addition to our classes, the program sponsors social events, parent education, service projects, prayer services and more, following our parish mission statement, We, the Catholic community of Our Lady of Grace, endeavor to live our faith grounded in Jesus Christ, celebrating His presence in Word, Sacrament and shared experiences.”
